Darius Rucker named 2025 Ambassador of Golf

Grammy-winning artist Darius Rucker has been named the 2025 Ambassador of Golf, presented at the Kaulig Companies Championship by the PGA TOUR Champions and Northern Ohio Golf Charities Foundation. The award recognizes individuals who promote golf globally and contribute to charitable causes beyond the sport.

Rucker has supported golf through initiatives such as the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate and Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate, NCAA tournaments for women’s and men’s collegiate golf. He also organizes annual charity golf events, including Darius & Friends for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Monday After the Masters, benefiting junior golf programs in South Carolina. In 2024, he hosted the World Golf Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and holds the distinction of being the PGA TOUR’s first official brand ambassador.
