Kaulig Companies Championship at Firestone Country Club raises $1.3 million for charities

The Kaulig Companies Championship and the Ambassador of Golf Event, presented by FirstEnergy Foundation, raised $1.3 million for over 30 charities this year, surpassing last year’s total. Since 1984, professional golf tournaments at Firestone Country Club have generated over $33 million for local charities. Matt Kaulig, executive chairman of Kaulig Companies, highlighted the tournament’s strong charitable focus, noting that this year’s donation was the largest yet. He also announced that next year’s tournament will be moved up to June 18-22 instead of July. Kaulig expressed excitement for the tournament’s continued growth, stating that each year has been better than the last, and they expect even greater success in year three.
